About propagated cache/proxy logs
A can receive data from an in the following ways:
- Streamed from the origin server directly into storage.
- Streamed from the origin server through the cache/proxy server to the requesting .
- Streamed into the cache/proxy server and then split into multiple broadcast streams.
The log sent by the cache/proxy server indicates the quality and duration of the that was received from the origin server. The WMS Logging plug-in on the origin server can be configured to request that client logs are forwarded to the origin server upon receipt or are retained on the cache/proxy server. If there are multiple cache/proxy servers between the origin server and the client, logs will be transferred through any intermediate cache/proxy servers to the origin server.
